Two words can best describe our experience with Mokihana Pambianchi and they are “life saver”. We called Moki only 6 weeks before our daughter’s wedding and the day before she was leaving on an extended vacation, after our previous wedding planner broke her contract with us and quit. Moki heard the desperation in my voice and although she had two very large weddings the two weekends before ours her kind hearted spirit could not say no to us. The day she returned from vacation, still jet lagged, she got working. Moki needed to organize all our previously contracted vendors as well as help us find those not yet contracted. She is detail oriented and has a wonderful flare for decorating, which was very necessary as our venue needed her touch. Together we created a timeline that helped keep the wedding running smoothly. Moki was a pleasure to work with and I only started to enjoy the wedding process the day we hired her. We couldn’t more highly recommend Moki as your wedding planner!!!!

Moki was amazing. Getting married is so so stressful and I can honestly say, she put me at ease. In the moment of emotional panic, she’s by your side – no questions asked. In acts of a super hero, she had ideas I would never even have thought of and saved the day! Rain or shine (in my case both), she knew exactly what to do, how to handle and remained calm and collected throughout. We are so happy we had the honor of working with such a professional wedding coordinator and I would HIGHLY recommend any brides/grooms to bring her on board. Moki was absolutely amazing and essential for the success of our wedding. I live out of the country and my fiancé was living in Colorado, both in full time intensive jobs, when we decided to have our wedding ceremony and reception in our hometown in Cairo/Hudson, NY. We chose a unique and beautiful venue for the reception, Olana State Historic Park, but they rarely did weddings and required almost complete planning for vendors from our side. We were lost on how to possibly plan so many details on our own and Moki came recommended from multiple vendors we had begun talking to so we reached out to her. And she sure did come to the rescue! She took over immediately, interviewing us to see what we wanted and how far we had come and to know what specifically she would need to do. She organized our efforts and seamlessly took the reigns providing us lists of vendors for accommodation and becoming the main contact point for our other vendors. She captured my ideas about a magical, elegant evening with Middle Eastern vibes perfectly and added amazing ideas to the décor and lighting. We could only be in the US once or twice before the wedding and she dropped everything to meet with us whenever we were available and to Skype with me when we were not in person. She even worked hand-in-hand with the florist to help design the perfect arrangements for the church and the reception within our budget guidelines (which were strict since we were having a 250+ wedding!). The day-of she provided schedules/agendas to everyone in the wedding and kept everything flowing smoothly. There were hiccups with additional speakers we hadn’t planned for and late bands but she was never flustered and never gave me an ounce to worry about. I can go on forever about how perfect Moki coordinated our wedding- she truly was amazing and I can’t recommend her enough!

To understand how great this company is and it’s owner, Mokihana, let us start at the beginning. I chose to have our wedding on my parents’ property so from the start I knew we would be working with a tent. Pinterest, etc. confirmed that draping would be the most beautiful way to decorate, but my research made me believe this option would not fit my budget. So, I went without. I didn’t even inquire about options despite being engaged for over a year and a half. Then, as the wedding got closer, and it became evident that our wedding tent had no decorations planned, I began to panic. Finally, I caved and asked our rental company if it would be a possibility (we were 2 weeks away) and who they would suggest for such a project. That’s when Moki stepped in and everything got better…and prettier. Moki returned my call immediately and discussed at length my ideas and the situation. She was in the middle of another (big!) project so she would need the weekend to get back to me, which she did first thing Monday. During her busy weekend of working another wedding she was able to research my design idea and find a suitable company to supply our draping materials. To top that off, she quoted me an incredible price that included services before and after the wedding. She and her team arrived the day before to take measurements and then the next day to set up. I learned that she had been unable to prepare the draping material in advance since she didn’t have all the measurements until she was able to see the tent so she had stayed up until 4:00 AM the night before the draping began to secure her materials and then still arrived by 9:00 AM the next day to begin. She was efficient, well-prepared, positive and kind. She never ONCE made me feel like a jerk for waiting until the last minute and she constantly assured me that everything would be beautiful. She was right. It was gorgeous! EVERYONE loved how the tent felt and looked. So, my advice? Do not hesitate, hire her now!!

Moki was highly recommended to me and she lived up to every bit of it. I was planning on doing all my wedding decorations myself with the help of friends/family. As the date got closer we realized there were just too many details to handle on wedding day so I finally called Moki in to help. She was absolutely wonderful to work with and very reasonable for her level of talent. Moki starts by fully understanding the clients’ goals and vision for the event. She has wonderful taste, I provided several specific directions but also left a lot up to her judgment. When I walked into our reception venue I was thrilled and surprised to find so many beautiful touches she included that I never thought of. She is very professional, yet firm with the venue and other vendors to ensure all of the brides plans are carried out, a true pleasure to work with. The only thing I would have changed is to call her sooner! 🙂 I can’t say enough about her, she allowed me enjoy the big day as I completely trusted that she would handle everything and she did!
