Moki is incredible! I reached out to Moki for help with my proposal. From A-Z Moki had me covered. She connected me with a venue, a photographer and a musician. No ask I had for Moki was out of the question. The picnic she set up was absolutely gorgeous, it felt like we were in a movie. Every detail was thought out. I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Mokihana and the absolutely stunning picnic she planned for me and 20 of my friends! I had contacted her nearly a year out because I had so much trouble finding someone near Hunter, NY and she spent literally the whole year helping me plan this picnic, looking up optimal time slots based on the sunset/weather and sharing inspiration pictures. On the day of, she came early and offered to move our picnic inside because it was a bit chilly but was down to commit to our outdoor plan and it was STUNNING - please look at the pictures!! We had sandwiches catered because the add-on said "charcuterie" but BOY was that a TON of gorgeous charcuterie! Every aspect of this experience was perfect, I cannot thank Mokihana and her team enough and I can't recommend her enough!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do we secure a date for an event?

    A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to hold date upon reservation. (Credit card will be kept on file for missing or damaged items) Full payment is required within 72 hours before the event

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    Cancellations made within 24 hours of initial booking will receive a full refund. Cancellations made beyond 24 hours of picnic date will receive a 50% refund of the final balance paid. Cancellations/No shows less than 24 hours in advance will be charged for 100% of the booking/services reserved.

    Weather-related cancellations: We will follow the most up to date weather forecasts leading up to your reserved picnic and will decide whether we can proceed to host the picnic or not. If weather does not permit us from moving forward with your reservation, you will have two options. 1. Reschedule your picnic (upon availability only) or 2. You can cancel your picnic and receive a 50% refund.

  • How long are the picnics?

    Standard picnic package is (2) two-hours.
 Additional hours can be arranged upon request for an additional fee of $150.00 per hour

  • What do the picnics cost?

    Our luxury package starts at $550 for two guests for two hours. Additional guests are $75 per person up to 12 guests total per picnic. A contract for services will be sent via square for electronic payment to complete the reservation.

Set up will take approximately 1- 2 hours. Every item is cleaned and sanitized, bagged and sealed prior to your event. Meals are prepared by local caterers and sealed for freshness. Approximately 10-12 hours goes into every picnic. (planning/prepping, set up, breakdown & maintenance)

We are unable to provide alcoholic beverages at this time but encourage you to bring your own spirits if on private property only.

Travel to the countryside of the Catskill Mountains and find yourself in the middle of nature’s splendor! Whether your hiking, biking, skiing or relaxing, theres always something to do in upstate New York. And if your really looking to make your trip more amazing, then look no further and book a luxury picnic by Bliss Events. Our Luxury Picnics are great for date night, wedding proposals, birthdays, anniversaries and girlfriends getaways!

Indoors or outside, its up to you! Our two-hour picnics are small and intimate.

Bliss Events will create a beautiful picnic setting complete with ground covering, a low profile table, china, flatware, glassware & exquisite tabletop decor. All you do is show up and enjoy the experience! Need a nibble to eat? We will coordinate with local caterers to provide delicious charcuterie & cheese boards with sweet and savory sides & crusty breads. And who can pass up something sweet to top off the meal? Not me! Our local bakers will create an assortment of fruit and dessert platters that are simply to die for! Prefer a customized menu? No worries! We will work with you to create the perfect culinary experience thats sure to please every palette.

Unlike a full service wedding coordinator, a “Day of” coordinator is for clients who want to do most of the planning themselves, but when their wedding day arrives, they need a professional to execute all their hard work.

It is a necessity for everyone but most importantly you! Our goal is for you to relax, take in and enjoy the most precious moments you’ve been working toward! Our service begins 8 weeks prior to your wedding date and is available to secure your date 4 months in advance. As soon as you book, we can provide you vendor recommendations for anything you’ve not secured yet. Our checklist and guidance will keep you ready to complete your final tasks and during a detailed planning meeting, we will put together your wedding timeline, ceremony logistics and more. In the final month, we fully take over vendor communication and tie up all loose ends. We then conduct your rehearsal and wedding day from start to finish, Emergency Kit in hand!  This service usually entail approx 30 hours of work pre- during and post wedding day and also includes 1 assistant for the day.  Contact us if you haven’t reserved a Day-Of Coordinator for your special day.
